This Privacy Policy describes how Anti Proton ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information in connection with your use of the Anti Proton mobile and web application. By using Anti Proton, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This policy applies to all users worldwide, including those in the European Union (GDPR), United Kingdom (UK GDPR), India (DPDP Act 2023), California, USA (CCPA/CPRA), Canada (PIPEDA), and Australia (Privacy Act 1988).
Anti Proton is a privacy-first application. We do not track you, serve you advertisements, or sell your data — ever. We have no advertising partners. We have no analytics SDKs embedded in the app that report your behaviour to third parties.
We do not collect: advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), device fingerprints, IP addresses, location data, browsing history, crash analytics sent to third parties, or any data for commercial profiling purposes.
All data you enter into Anti Proton is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. This includes:
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an optional cloud sync feature (see Section 4).
Your password is never stored in plain text. It is hashed using SHA-256 before being saved. Neither we, nor any third party, can view or recover your password. If you forget your password, you will need to create a new account.
We do not store email addresses on our servers. If you provide an email address during signup, it is stored locally on your device only and is used solely as an account identifier. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional communications.
A future version of Anti Proton may offer optional cloud synchronisation (via Supabase or a similar service) to allow you to back up your data or access it across multiple devices. This feature will be:

Anti Proton loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) to render the app's typography. This request is made by your browser and may result in Google receiving your IP address per its own privacy policy. No other third-party services, SDKs, or trackers are embedded in the app.
Anti Proton is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data through this app, please contact us and we will promptly delete the relevant information from the device and any associated data.
Users between ages 13–17 should use the app only with parental or guardian consent.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times. You can:

Anti Proton is a fitness tracking tool and is not a medical device. Health and fitness data you log (weight, body measurements, workout data, nutrition, sleep, etc.) is stored locally on your device and is not shared with any health platform, insurance provider, employer, or third party without your explicit consent.
The App does not integrate with Apple Health, Google Fit, or any health data platform. Any fitness metrics (TDEE, BMI, calorie estimates) are calculated locally on your device and are for informational purposes only.

All permissions are optional. You can use Anti Proton without granting any device permissions.
Your data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (screen lock, device encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device's operating system and browser up to date to maintain the security of locally stored data. We do not transmit your data, so we cannot be the source of a data breach.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of Anti Proton after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will notify you within the app.

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, use it for illegal purposes, or attempt to access other users' data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anti Proton and its developers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of this application.
